Gerald Chlupach opened his Ditch Witch dealership in Slater, Iowa in 1965, a turbulent time of change in America. One thing was certain in that decade of uncertainty; nothing stands in the way of hard work and productivity in the nation's heartland. Ditch Witch - Iowa, Inc. was founded to provide uninterrupted service and unparalleled dealership support to the industries that rely on the Ditch Witch name for superior performance under any conditions. Today after over 40 successful years, the dealership continues to make customer service its first priority.  Jeff Chlupach, Gerald's son, came up through the ranks and took ownership in 1999. Jeff's son, Steve, entrenched in the family business as well, now works as parts manager in the Slater location.

Recent renovations have resulted in enhanced efficiency at both the Davenport and Slater facilities, with updated systems and expanded square footage. Both locations provide 24-hour emergency service to customers in the state of Iowa and 15 Illinois counties.
